Music Class

At Newmarket Montessori Christian Academy, our Extracurricular Music Program provides students with the opportunity to explore, create, and perform music beyond the classroom. Designed for students of all skill levels, this program fosters a love for music through hands-on experiences in instrumental play, vocal training, and collaborative performances.

Through guided instruction and group activities, students engage in a fun and interactive musical journey, learning essential skills in rhythm, melody, and composition. Whether they are singing in a choir, playing an instrument, or participating in an ensemble, students develop confidence and teamwork while expressing themselves through music.

Students in our Extracurricular Music Program will:

  • Learn to play instruments such as percussion, recorder, and keyboard

  • Participate in group ensembles, choir, and musical performances

  • Develop music theory and ear training skills in an engaging environment

  • Explore different genres and cultural influences in music

  • Build stage presence and confidence through school concerts and special events

This program encourages students to grow in their musical abilities while experiencing the joy of performing and collaborating with peers. With a focus on creativity, skill development, and faith-inspired music, our extracurricular music program helps students discover the power of music as a form of expression and worship.
