At Newmarket Montessori Christian Academy, we believe that learning a new language opens doors to cultural understanding, communication, and academic growth. Our French Program is designed to equip students with the skills to speak, read, and write in French, while fostering a genuine appreciation for the language and Francophone cultures.

Using a Montessori-inspired, immersive approach, students engage in interactive lessons that make language learning natural and enjoyable. Through conversations, storytelling, songs, and hands-on activities, they develop confidence in expressing themselves in French.

Students in our French Program will:

• Strengthen oral communication through daily practice, oral discussion & reading aloud

• Expand vocabulary and grammar using age-appropriate reading and writing exercises

• Improve listening comprehension through stories, songs, and audio activities

• Learn about Francophone cultures around the world through traditions, celebrations, and history

• Apply their learning through real-life scenarios, encouraging practical language use​

• Singing, presentations, and drama

Our goal is to create a positive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable practicing French and developing their language skills at their own pace. Whether beginners or advanced learners, students are supported in their journey to fluency with personalized guidance and interactive experiences.
